The last couple of days have been spent hanging the doors in the frame. As usual, the camera batteries decided to pack up on the interesting bits so these pictures aren't in order, but I've tried to explain how I've got the doors up there. There isn't much else I can say except the doors look absolutely fantastic! Although they weigh a ton, you can still push them open with even a gentle push (one fingered). I still need to put the lock and handle on, so I've had to leave them wedged open for now just in case the wind bashed them about and pulled at the hinges. Just need that big window in at the side and it will be an actual usable shed! Then maybe I can FINALLY move all the dozens of packs of shiplap out of the kitchen and get some room in the house for once!
Skipping forward a little, with 4 sets of hinges on, the two doors are attached in the middle and so can stand up on their own. This was important later when I came to mark where the hinges would connect these doors to the door frame - I didn't have to worry about holding them in place. You can also just tell that I've put some OSB boards on the floor which raised the doors up about a centimetre. I wanted some clearance under the doors so that they could expand, sag, or do whatever doors do, without me having to worry about them dragging on the floor. It also lets me add a new floor covering if I feel like it without having to plane the doors.
