Adding the sheathing (ie attaching the OSB sheets to the timber frame) was very exciting, not least because it went very quickly and we could soon get an idea of what the shed was really going to look like. Sarah was my 'nail distribution system' (handing me the nails while I attached the boards!) and she also set up the wedges underneath the bottom of the boards as we put them into place, as level as possible.
The first board went on vertically but the second two were put on horizontally because the back wall is in two sections (you can see the join where there are two vertical supports bolted together) and I thought that having boards across the join would add extra strength. You'll notice a little gap at the top of the wall... more on that later, but it is intentiontal I promise!
