Diary of a Shed - 27 May 2004 < Back    Next >    HOME
Adding the sheathing (ie attaching the OSB sheets to the timber frame) was very exciting, not least because it went very quickly and we could soon get an idea of what the shed was really going to look like. Sarah was my 'nail distribution system' (handing me the nails while I attached the boards!) and she also set up the wedges underneath the bottom of the boards as we put them into place, as level as possible.

The gap to the left of the window will be left until the end - once the whole shed has been boarded up we'll come back and fill in the gaps with any offcuts that are left, or use a full board cut into pieces to fit the remaining smaller areas.
