The shed foundations were completed at 1:00pm on 19 April 2004! However I've been resting for 2 days and had to clear up the wood and string lines, so these pics were taken today, on the 21st. All I need now is some wood and I'm away! I'm going to get the plans back out and get a list ready for the builder's merchants. But after a month of digging and mixing concrete, I think I deserve a break.
Closer up, here are (most of) the 28 concrete pillars (this is looking back up to the house). Don't forget that under each one of these pillars is an 18 inch deep hole full of concrete! The heights of the pillars varies, but that's because it was easier to get the concrete level than it was to level such a big area of land. And you can see how much I've had to chop out of the slope as it is!
