Diary of a Shed - 11 May 2004

The timber arrives! Unfortunately the eagle-eyed among you will be able to tell that this is NOT the correct type of timber. Treated timber is darker and has a greenish tinge to it - I was sent the wrong timber and only realised AFTER I'd lugged it all to the back of the house. I now have to move it all back to the front of the house again ready for it to be picked up and exchanged. And it looks so nice where I've stacked it! Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhh!

WBP exterior grade plywood for the floor. One of these looks big, but there are NINE. Now that's a shed floor! I had to do a little dance to get each of these round the back of the house - you try lifting an 8-foot by 4-foot sheet and moving it around!
