Diary of a Shed - 20 June 2004 | < Back Next > HOME | |||||||||||||
I was determined not to let the weather beat me today, so I had a plan of action: I would do all the cutting at once, then all the fitting into place at once. That way, even if it rained, chances were that I would still not have to take the mitre saw in and out quite so often. It worked quite well, and I cut 4 rafters for the back section of the shed roof and quickly fitted them into place - I've got this down to an art now, and it didn't take me long at all. Inbetween some light rain and the 5pm deadline (Grand Prix - thou shalt not miss!) I also managed to add the overhang to the back of the roof as well, and considering that wasn't part of today's plan I was quite pleased with that. All in all a much better day than yesterday!
