Early days yet but the foundations are coming along. Today was 'filling in 3 holes with concrete day', which was 7 barrows of the stuff. I'll be glad when this foundation work is all done, but there are 11 more holes to dig and fill. Still, 17 have been done so the end is getting a little closer each time. The pillars are created by putting 4 breeze blocks around the top of each filled-in hole and filling up with concrete to a string line. The tops are levelled by patting down with a small spirit level, until I can put it down in any direction and it's all level.
