What's Happening? The YouTube ban, and why it is permanent
This is the current situation. The picture altered when YouTube contacted me, 'changed their minds' about the reason for my account deletion and (while they were at it) deleted my account and all its videos AGAIN.
NickGisburne2000 is gone. My videos are gone. This is why.

YouTube changes its story... and BANS me forever
Thanks to pdoeman for going beyond the call of duty and staying up until 6:00 am waiting for me to send this video to him to put on his YouTube channel. You are owed multiple beers!
Not mentioned in the video was hardcaseownsyou, who initiated a 'mass protest', uploading the 'banned' video to as many different accounts as possible. This led to my original video being close to the top 20 of all time on YouTube for responses, when scores of people followed his lead. Respect the hardcase or he will own you!
NickGisburne2000 Suspended Too
YouTube contacted me yesterday (12 February 2007) to tell me that they had got it wrong, that in fact I should have been told my account was closed for copyright reasons. Slightly late, when I had already caused a huge storm of protest and encouraged everyone on YouTube to upload the 'banned' video in protest. And now it seems that I am being made to look the fool or worse, a liar.
This is not the case. The facts as I was given them, by YouTube, were exactly as I related on this page. That I have been given another story entirely is all explained in my latest video, which has been uploaded onto a friend's YouTube account (left).
Banned... forever?
Not only was I told why my NickGisburne and Gisburne2000 accounts had been suspended (for 'copyright infringement'), they also closed down my new NickGisburne2000 account, and again wiped off my 1300+ subscribers, all their comments, all their messages, everything.
This draconian move was because of my past 'crimes' against YouTube. Because I had had 3 'strikes' on my old account, I was not now allowed to keep my new account. That's right. This has effectively BANNED me from opening an account and posting videos on YouTube.

DMCA says yes... forever!

YouTube says: The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) actually requires that the accounts of "repeat infringers" be terminated. Their hands appear to be tied. And I appear to be stuffed. But guess what?

Notice the removal was for 'inappropriate' content, NOT copyright infringement. When videos are taken down for copyright reasons, YouTube tells you that this is the case, and tells you which company issued a DMCA notice against you.
Censored - AGAIN
After 2 days being posted to my new account, the 'banned' video was deleted AGAIN (11 February 2007).

By this time the story was already everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Looks like YouTube decided they didn't like the publicity. 
Email from YouTube - I am BANNED
Later the same day - 12 February 2007.
There is no question that this is a total ban. Because I have breached copyright in the past, this account (and by inference any future accounts) will be deleted.
