BS proof of God's existence
Argument From What Makes Sense
1. Doesn't it just make more sense that an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good deity created the world out of nothingness, from magic, essentially, and then punished us for eating a piece of fruit, and then incarnated himself in human flesh and came down to shed his own blood so he could break his own rules, and then went through hell on a temporary basis and then went back into the sky and promised to come back and take everyone who believed in him to this heaven no one has ever seen?
2. Well, doesn't it?
3. Therefore, God exists.
Consider this
A Buddhist Monk walked up to a hot dog vendor and said "Make me one with everything."

Atheist on the Blog
The more I look at religion, the more I dislike it and what it does to the world and its people. This blog will help you understand why religion is something you shouldn't accept as a good thing in our lives. Above all, don't respect religious beliefs when their practitioners refuse to respect you.

Pro-Tube or Pro-Snip?     1 January 2008
Many Christians make a lot of fuss over abortions. If you are 'pro-life' you are anti-abortion, which is funny really because most people would say they are pro-life, if the alternative is anti-life, but then again these emotive words get hijacked simply because they can then be used accusingly: 'Are you pro-life? No, so you hate life so much that you would abort a child...' etc.

It's funny that Christians who are quite willing to march or protest in front of abortion clinics, or health centres which among other things carry out abortions, don't think to protest against another unnatural (in their eyes) medical procedure: the vasectomy. Surely if you are anti-abortion you should also be against the deliberate avoidance of any potential life when a man gets the snip? Isn't that what Christianity teaches, that we are put here to reproduce? When someone severs any hope of having a child, that is surely a crime against God isn't it?

So why no marching and protesting outside vasectomy clinics? Why no death threats or shootings of doctors who perform these vasectomies?

I'm neither pro-tube nor pro-snip. I am, as with abortions, pro-choice. It's your body, and you can do what you like with it. Whatever life or potential life exists inside you is yours until the moment it becomes able to live independently of your body, and until it reaches that point you have every right to do with it what you wish.

I'm not going to get into the big pro/anti abortion discussion here because this was just a fairly light-hearted piece about the different rules religious people have for different medical procedures. If anything, you'd think that there would be more outrage against vasectomies than abortions - after all, vasectomies kill off the chances of life ever 'springing from the loins' of the patient, whereas someone who has an abortion can still go on to have other children.

In case anyone is wondering, my tubes are still permitting the passage of traffic, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. And if you're a willing female volunteer, I can provide proof for any sceptics out there!
